vista administrative permission error

ok i have a e1505 with vista and i am the only user on the laptop and when i try to delete certian files it gives me the you need administrative permission when i am the adminstrator. is there a way to fix this? does this with some files on safe mode.

use "quiet mode"

edit : please note that this program disable some of vista security options.

personally i think this UAC(user account control) should be painted in blue and be thrown to the ocean.
so use at your own "risk" .. there i said it.

The UAC annoyed me after only 5 minutes. I turned it off. Haven't had any problems yet. Can be turned of in the control panel

yes it can :
Conrol Panel -> User Accounts -> Turn UAC On or Off

but you better of using tweak-uac since there u can still leave UAC on and use quiet-mode so you want see any messages but still have "some" security.

read the info in the link above for information about what tweak-uac does.
