I'm going to buy everything else I still need. harddrives memory, case fans, hell I still need my gpu waterblock that hasn't been created yet. Now newegg has ripped the 780i off of their site today.

You'll see why I won't change my mind on this monitor. It's

Just waiting to see what will be out when the Q9450 comes. I've heard to many horror stories over the striker and 680i in general, now all of the stories over the 780i

I'm looking closely as to what ati and nvidia are going to be doing in Feb.

I've been trolling the EVGA and XFX forums - they don't seem to be having the problems with the 780 that were encountered with the 680...mainly frying mem. If I've missed the boat on 780 issues, please let me know.

I also read today that NVidia is releasing the lower-end 9000 cards first (Jan 15th press conference).

The issues I've started seeing is problems with running 4gb of memory....running into c1 errors
post #191 of 397
You're right, there are issues with sticks in all DIMMS.

Looking at the X38's myself, got all of the features I like and it seems like if you go for the good boards, you'll be alright as the P5E has great standings

Just purchased:

8x-3 pin extension cable
sleeve: Yes
color: Black
heatshrink: Black

1x-Sunbeam Multi Fan Power Port
1x-Ultra Products - 130pc Premium Toolkit

6x-120mm Yate case fans
Loon (88CFM)

$135 left to spend. Next time will be in three weeks.

I'm going like opposite of you on fans, I'm going to be buying the lowest dB fans and with 4 of them on the side of the case that should still get loads of air out

gonna get 4 of these bad boys http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16835185057

and for the CPU 120mm fan I think I'll move up to a more medium level air flow as to support a healthy overclock.

I got theses http://www.petrastechshop.com/12yalod1cafa2.html for my case
and these http://www.petrastechshop.com/12x38pafbhyw1.html for my watercooling

I can't seem to figure out where I got my 80mm chipset fans.. I know they're like 80+ cfm too.

I like fans and antifreeze in my computers.

I just have high noise sensitivity, although if you want the best cooling you have to live with noise. I've always been one of those people that even at the slightest click or noise I turn my head and stuff, so I REALLY love when I can get a kickass PC that sounds like heaven

Plus with the case being the coolermaster 830 it has tons of fans to move air, so for me the noise being low isn't even a problem

Do you have the 830 yet?

Cause I have it sitting next to me. It's a beauty. I was lucky enough to get the evo2. Alot more mesh and holes for tubing, a ++ in my book.

Nah, I posted in the major section under here that I'm afraid to buy (although I was going to) because of what AVA is currently doing. Just don't feel comfortable spending the money for my components until everything is settled between the CC company and AVA.

It really looks amazing, I didn't get the evo because I don't really need the extras it provides but I'm getting the silver version love the black on silver look, and I really can't get over how many 120mm fan holes it has, I think it has 7, (4 side, 1 top, 1 rear, 1 front?)
