Stu,

How did you get a theme like that? Your desktop is really organized with all the programs on the top, etc. Is there a program? Please guide me!

The icons on the top are organised using Objectdock, a free program that allows for animated icons and orientation on the left, right, top or bottom... much better than just normal icon arrangement IMO. If you have ever seen MAC OSX then you will know what this is like, its virtually a clone .

The theme is one I put in place utilising ThemeXP, unfortunately not a free program, but you can always just use the trial version (or go the dodgy route if you wish, not something I endorse ).

My wallpaper is obviously the Geelong F.C AFL logo, which you can get if you are interested at gfc.com.au, I know I'm kidding myself here because there aren't many AFL followers on the site, but I thought I'd mention it for completeness.

Edit: Also, forgot to add that the visual style I'm using there is the following Longhorn one by lyndak.

Cheers,

stu

That desktop is actually a pic of the bunny hill that I took at Beavercreak, Colorado during my spring break snowboarding trip. I would put up the one I took of the black diamond, but it still hurts to even look at that slope.

I like yours. it's very clean. I used to have that many icons in my dock, but the program crashed for some reason and I'm starting over now.

Thanks both! Love your cartoony look Jian001, and the cleaness of the whole desktop, as you can see thats a pre-req for mine.
Spiike, all your little extras (and the object dock) look great, but I have to admit to a hate of scenery themes like that, so your wallpaper is the one thing I dislike, rest looks fabulous.
I have just finished formatting my laptop, after posting that pic. So I'll be setting up my whole new desktop soon and will post a pic of that when its done, its gonna be very similar but I might go for a slightly different look and some different colours.

Sakor1, quick question. Out of curiosity, how did you get a laptop icon for "my computer"?

Its actually a standard Windows XP icon. Rather than go through Windows to track it down (plus I didn't know it existed ), I downloaded it when I spotted it. God only knows where I found it though, because I can't for the life of me remember the site, sorry.

Looking forward to seeing you're new one there Sakor! Yes, a minimal and clean desktop is a pre-req for me too.

My desktop doesn't change much apart from the background..
