For the widgets - use Konfabulator (aka Yahoo Widgets)

The beauty of Gentoo's Portage or Ubuntu's apt-get, you don't have to worry about dependencies anymore.

New Dapper Ubuntu Linux desktop gotta love the utils and better than itunes (amaroK)

Itunes is stinky, plus its made by that Mac company
