Well, here is my latest desktop after the format and reinstall. Very similar to my old one but with some different colours (black, silver, grey), simple is good for me.
Note only one game installed thus far . Waiting for BF:V at the moment, but in the meantime limiting my game playing to a bit of KOTOR so I can get some of my assignments out of the way. Running a bit smoother without all those extra programs cluttering it up too.
Ahhhhhhhhh, I love a fresh install

That launches my Uni VPN client so I can connect to the wireless network. The icon is one I found searching around one of the many sites that cater for objectdock, unfortunately I do not have a link for you because I don't remember at which one of them I got it

What does all think of this desktop? Too plain, or pretty good? I think I'll keep this for a while as its clean and functional for me.

Hi all!

I was just messing around with some graphics today and kinda liked with what I came up with for a background so I thought I'd post my minimalist desktop.

just playing with colors, some filters, and some other junk. If anyone wants it, I can post the original, non-compressed-to-heck JPEG version... I've got a couple of others in similar veins.

They worked for me this morning, but since they're huge images I daresay he out-did his geocities allocation of bandwidth.

you have to drag the link to the address bar.. geo-sh&%ies doesnt allow direct linking. I like the apple one.. odd perspective pics are pretty cool.

Yeah its not bad. Dunno about the Hitman one, the wallpaper is good but I've used that XBox theme before and it switches all the Common tasks sections in folders to the right hand side, which I found quite disconcerting. That was the only thing I didn't like about it and why I don't use it, otherwise it was an awesome style.
