Im not sure where in the forums this would go, but i was wondering if like on apple computers, you can have 2 operating systems in a notebook and choose which one you wanted to boot into - when my notebook arrives it will have vista business, but i really love some old games that wont work on vista - some wont even work on XP!! would it be possible to also install say win 98 for example, and when i want to play old games just choose to boot up into that? or have i gone mad?

there's software called VMware that will allow you to run one operating system inside another one. You should be able to use it to play your older games. Another method is to install a Linux partition and then install and run a program called Wine, which can emulate any Windows version. Either method will require some configuration, although the Linux and Wine method may be easier, since it's not always easy to find copies of Windows 95 or 98

You can also try running older games on Compatibility Mode, this requires no additional software install.
The process mentioned there is for Windows XP but is the same for Vista.
It is highly compatible but 100% compatibility is not guaranteed. If your programs definitely won't run under compatibility mode then you will need to run a virtual machine program like VMware.
