anyone with this problem

As I am typing using word, the blinking cursor "magically" moves. When it moves, it goes up a few lines and I have to constantly erase and go back. Any help is greatly appreciated.

btw: I am not touching the touchpad when I am typing. Also I tried installing the touchpad drivers both from the cd and sager’s website, but after clicking on setup nothing happens.

Have you trie disabling the touchpad?

can't disable only uninstall

If you still have the happy little icon in your systray for the touch pad, right click it and go to properties,then select the tapping tab and click on the tap off while typing checkbox, if you do not have the icon in your systray simply go to your mouse properties in control panels.

i hope that works but like i mentioned before i did not touch the pad when i was typing it moved on its own accord.

I ran into the same problem with my old sony lappy, this seemed to fix the problem for me. I also was not touching the touch pad.
