Recommended source for 130W power bricks? - Page 2

Are any of those bricks as big as the 130 W brick. It just seems like common sense to me that there is gonna be alot of stress at the point where the wire and the physical brick are connected.

Most of the problems I have seen with the bricks have been with the stress points on the cable where it comes out of the brick, even with the strain relief fittings.

Sure they probably are using lower quality parts than 10 years ago, but either way considering the bending, stretching, and kinks that are put upon the power cords it really is only a matter of time before they crap out.

It seems like replaceable cords and short circuit protection would take care of that at a fraction of the cost. Even then, some units like Megaphat's seem to be failing for different reasons and rather dangerously.
