TweaksMobile MobileForce VS 163.44 M6 32-Bit
DOWNLOAD OFFICIAL FORUM THREAD Operating System: Microsoft Windows Vista 32-Bit Driver Version: 7.15.11.6344 TweaksMobile MobileForce Custom INF Version: 6.01.25 Driver Date: 08/17/2007 Driver Size: 35,379,695 bytes MD5 Hash: 0014AB6CC2093BC6A3B8E463E041E49C Please make sure you compare the MD5 Hash of the file you're downloading to make sure you are getting a Genuine MobileForce Driver, and not one that has been tampered with! ---Release Notes--- Well, there have been MANY requests for this driver, based on NVIDIA's ForceWare 163.44, also known as the "BioShock" ForceWare. I've done quite a bit of testing for BOTH drivers, and they generally seem solid. With Microsoft's recent release of a new hotfix for Vista that addresses several issues with crashing and slow gameplay, its only gotten better. For once, I can actually say with confidence that Vista's driver situation seems to be improving, however, it seems more like alot of it stems from issues with Vista rather than NVIDIA's drivers. Windows XP users aren't out of the mix, and its been a LONG time since XP users have felt "the love" from the MobileForce team, but with this new driver, it seems as though there's finally a legitimate reason to release a new driver for those XP users left out in the cold. So, without further ado, have fun, and please report back on the results you achieve with either of these drivers!! ---Other Information--- If you are updating your driver, please follow the directions in THIS THREAD. If you don't use follow these directions, and whine about problems with the driver not working properly, we're going to ask you to use follow these directions anyways, so please, update your driver properly . . . We will thank you later. Please post RESPONSIBLY!!! We will answer your question as soon as possible. ---Supported Video Devices---

Please make sure that if you're download and install this driver, to install the Windows Vista Hotfix covered in this thread:

Well, I have to say.
Despite some of my issues with previous driver releases of yours (when you were under the Xtreme-G name ) you have really turned out some nice driver tweaks.

I really liked the 101.70's but with bioshock out, I tried the 163.44's and I noticed a good improvement compared to the stock 163.44's .
The 163.44's are not quite as fast as the 101.70's but that has nothing to do with your tweaks which are good.

Just want to say once more that you are doing some nice work now and to keep it up.

Im oddly getting BSOD's with this one constantly which were not present in the vanilla 163.44 gonna find out the source of the issue.

Try applying that Windows Hotfix that I noted above... Seems to fix alot of issues with Vista and these drivers.
Yes, I would recommend installing these 3 Vista hot fixes/performance patches

KB938194
KB938979
KB940105

They really improve performance and stability with Vista systems and this driver series as well.

I did a test, installed w/o hotfix....Blue screen of death!
Added hotfix....Everything is spiffy!

Nice job Tony. Keep up the great work for the people like me.

Can't wait to give these drivers a try.
Oddly enough I didn't require the above hotfix to use this driver. I wonder what the difference is...
Anyone able to compare these drivers to LaptopVideo2Go's? Not that I don't trust you guys, I always have, but for some reason I get better performance with theirs depending on what driver I use. Also, what differences do these have over theirs?

Performance and Image Quality tweaks that we add... We also add additional enhancements to PowerMizer, allowing the user more control over it.

Most of the time, users will notice more vibrant colors with the MobileForce drivers, sharper image quality, and "smoother" performance (not necessarily faster framerates, but just smoother gameplay).

The same things that have always made MobileForce drivers different from LaptopVideo2Go drivers.
Note about the Powermizer features... until NVidia releases a mobile driver with a working Powermizer CPL plugin, you won't have the additional goodies that our Powermizer tweaks would usually give you. The only drivers that NVidia has released for Vista have been desktop drivers thus far...

Thank NVidia for that one

Do these work with XP?

This is the Vista version... The XP version is in a different thread .

Hello, I am new here but have been searching for something I believe may be here. This thread caught my eye during a search I did for drivers for my Quadro FX 1400. My problem is this, I am a gamer and as such recently purchased Bioshock. Now as many people seem to be having problems with the game I am not sure if I am simply one of the many affected by the game or if my video card lacks the capability to run it. I am interested to know what your thoughts are on this matter as the game tends to crash quite often with no error message but a simple exit to destop. I am not quite as savy with software as I should be and as such am a little reluctent to try your driver.

Anyway I guess I am just rambling now, so do you think you could give me your thoughts to this problem?

I tried these but when playing Tiger Woods 08, the display is totally screwed up, there are millsions of colours all over the place and its just crazy.
Went back to the stck Dell drivers, TW 08 runs like a dream!

Ok, found something wrong with these drivers with the new quake wars demo that came out today (awesome game by the way). With these drivers I get a " FATAL ERROR: Image '_default' was generated with internal format 0x83f0 but GL returned 0x83f2" when I run the game. I was able to find the solution on the quake wars forum. Here it is thanks to Herr_Doktor

The way I found to disable this setting without reinstalling drivers (which is a pain for laptops) is as follows: * Download, install, and run RivaTuner * In the "Driver Settings" section of the "Main" tab, click the triangle button next to "Customize..." * Choose the OpenGL button from the pop-out bar * On the "Rendering quality" tab, uncheck the "Compress to DXT3 instead of DXT1" box. * Click the [OK] buttons until RivaTuner closes * Restart your computer and enjoy ET:QW! NOTE: It's necessary to restart, even though RivaTuner doesn't suggest so. I got really disappointed when I changed the settings and tried ET:QW with the same result, but decided to restart. After restarting, ET:QW now works great!

Are you guys ever going to release a 64-bit version? All the links here are 32-bit only... :-(

The next release we do will be a 32/64-Bit version.

Unfortunately, with the move from TweaksMobile to here (NotebookForums) and the things that need to be done on my end, including updating and re-releasing the previous drivers, I can't guarantee a release of this particular driver (163.44) in 64-Bit flavor. I'll certainly try to get one done, but I can't (unfortunately) promise anything.
