30" apple cinema display, on a 5720

I can't get the apple cinema display to run above 1280x800, which looks really ugly. Is it possible to run this screen at all on this laptop?

If the laptop doesn't have DualLink DVI you won't be able to get the full resolution out of it.

and the mac book pro is the only laptop that has duel link dvi (i'm almost 99% sure of this)

That would be a false statement. Macs aren't the only notebooks that can do dual link dvi.http://www.clevo.com.tw/products/M570RU.asp This (also known as the Sager NP5790) has this capability. But yes, Yang has it right - your Sager doesn't have the dual link dvi. It's strange that you wouldn't be able to get any other resolutions though. How are you outputting to the display?
