Can you help me out with that DVi?

If I connect my monitor to VGA, will there be any difference in anything?

Sorry if this question isn't good! I need an answer! Thanks!

as far as I know, the only difference is only whatever your monitor will support....So most dvi's that I know of support a higher resolution where as the VGA's do not...SO thats your difference.

my Acer 19" AL1916W (which is what i'm going to use for the new computer!) only has a VGA connector.

But, I can use ANY VGA connector on the new computer, (even higher up near the power cord) and all the difference will be the resolution, and colour and quality?

Thanks for your help so far.

and the diffrence between the 5000ish+ vs 3800, would be the same as the 8600gt vs 6150

so, im done, have fun

And your point is? Sudds got the better video card instead of the better CPU. For what he wants the GPU is much more important the the extra cycles he would be getting out of the faster CPU. Soulsaver you are truly a F88king idiot. When are you going to get the 1000CC motorcycle and do the world a favor again?
