Problem to load pages with Safari 2.0.4 and wifi

I move to Spain a couple of days ago, and since I'm here, I can't manage to browse properly over the internet using Safari 2.0.4 in my Macbook.

At first I tho the wireless connection I was using was limited somehow, cause I was able to use software like msn normally and can actually browse a few websites, just a few.

Weird thing is, I'm on a different wireless connection now, and I still can't browse most of the websites.

I get this message while trying:

"You are not connected to the Internet.
Safari can’t open the page “http://www.apple.com/” because your computer isn’t connected to the Internet."

What could it possible be?

Thanks in advance

only thing that comes to mind is that if you are not connected but perhaps leave your browser open between computer uses, that you might be getting partial loads from the cache. whenever safari gives you that message you're usually prompted if you want to run the diagnostics. click yes and see where your connection might be faltering. if you're using other peoples' wireless connections you might be able to connect to the network but not to the internet. it all depends on how the owner has their network set up.
