Well, im on campus now, and Xfire wont connect, even as BF2...

some college campus have weird internet activation. Make sure youre connected to the internet.

well colleges block a lot of ports to cut down on bandwidth...

They also block some apps as well.

if your using a campus wifi connection, its a safe bet that they have some hardcore port lockdown action going on... wired ethernet usually is a little more open as only those in buildings have access to it... talk to your IT department... they may be able to open a port or two for you, look up the ports those apps use by default before you go over there...

Where do i find the ports for BF2? Cause only port 80 is open. i managed to play AOE3 via hamachi though But not the greatest game evr.. Oh, btw, BF2 chrashes after a map loads... very weird... I had it before... and i solved it then, but i dont wanna keep reinstalling the darn game all the time...
