Loading XP onto Vista Toshiba problem

I'm attempting to load XP SP2 Home onto the second HD of the X205-S9359, it won't allow the option of installing XP,so I booted it from the Disk at start up by hitting F2 and went into the BIOS menu and changed the boot order to DVD first. Now my issue is that it does not find any hard drives installed on the computer. Suggestions please. thank you
