so some of you guys may have seen my previous threads about issues with my 7660 and some of you may not so to recap:
-videocard replaced 3 months in (think i burned it up with doom 3.....yea it was a while back i know!)
-harddrive replaced 3 times (1 that was shipped to be was bad out of the box so not aw's fault)
-various yet unexplained memory dumps and BSOD's
after everything reinstalling windows multiple times and calling tech support and thinking ive fixed the problem only to find out 3 weeks to 2 months later that i was wrong, they have finally decided to take it in for depot. this last time it was having BSOD's with 0000, 0008E and 0007F with the occasional win32k.sys and ntfs.sys as well.
according to alienware, it might be the memory if not the memory it may be the bays meaning the motherboard is bad if thats not it the memory on the videocard is bad and on top of that the hard drive may or may not be bad independant of everything else.
im actually glad its going to depot because it should be fixed after this and my warranty is actually about to run out in about 2 months and im in a sling so i cant work on it anyway. im optimistic and may actually be the first person on here not pissed its going away.
btw, anyone know when the change was made to send stuff to some computer place in houston instead of miami?
