I didnt want to load up this server - people can view the pictures on another window while they read posts on this forums...

And when they are giving it to us for free Might as well make use of it

Just one picture here anyway - for a good measure LOL

It's amazing how much can be defered from photos of one's living conditions!

Sweet laptop. Screens are very difficult to get good shots of, I know that.

I'm happy

Being a student in the USA from India makes the 'living conditions' easier to handle coz we're not used to anything much better back home.

I share the room with a french bloke who has a laptop too - a Dell by the way and we play a couple of games using a crossover cable.

I use a makeshift dustbin (just cutting the flaps off a few boxes that they send stuff in from Amazon and HPI (Rc Cars). Use these boxes to collect trash for a week and then trash the whole thing

It is a hard life but its been made much better with the arrival of my Laptop and more recently my Logitech Z-680 speakers. Simply awesome!!!

No complaints : I'd be more worried if I had a family to look after. At least that stress is off me for the moment might as well live it up - will take advice from you on the family bit when the time comes

Hee hee

I know exactly how it is - I thought no one else had the same discman as I did

Somehow here in the USA most people either buy a low end discman or a high end music system. I doubt anyone has a high end discman that costs as much as a high end hi-fi.

I got mine in Hong-Kong when I was there one year back. Paid HK$ 1300 for it which is somewhere in the region of $130.00. Since then I have spent $30.00 to get the Sony AC45E (I think) adapter for worldwide use and I have been using it in UK and in Hong-Kong and India

Now it displays text after I write my CD's off the sager - it never did that before!! I am totally in "Re-Love" with it lol

Yeah - the RC and Discman coincidence is uncanny we'd better make sure were not identical twins or something lol

FREAKY

you're getting me scared man...

ok tell me what you look like I look like the cave troll in Lord of the Rings lol

I downloaded *ahem* mp3's from the internet (Kazaa) and wrote them using Nero by selecting the create Audio CD option. I got full text and in 20% of the cases I got full lyrics that I can read while the song is going on!!

try it and lemme know if it works

in Nero you can add info to each file before you burn - do this and you can even add the lyrics yourself.

Is you name also Guru?? ha ha ha

and what the hell were you doing in Hong Kong? I was visiting a couple of factories and I lived in Kadoorie Avenue for 3 months. The Pacific Palace was the supermarket I hit most of the time. I love Hong Kong and will go there after educating myself. Lots of money to be made...

My history :)

1] High school Biology student
2] Med school dropout because of politics in India
3] Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering
4] Masters degree in Electrical Engineering (current)
5] Masters degree in Engineering management (also current)

6] Speak : German, English, Hindi and learning Spanish/French
7] Diploma in accountancy and risk management

So its quite a mix i've got in there which is exactly what venture capitalists are looking for. I work for my uncles venture capital firm and textile manufacturing company (TMS, S.Oliver - I belong to the family that owns the brand and the parent company).

This takes me everywhere in the world basically - USA, Germany, UK and Asia. I've even been to Pakistan lol

I think it is important to know a lot and experience it all...
