If you don't need Windows/Monitor/Keyboard/Mouse, I can build you a veeery beefy system for $800. Purchasing Windows makes it a bit harder, but $800 is a very easy target for a mid-range gaming system. Core 2 Duo, 2gb Ram, DX10 video card would all be easy to do in that budget. Let me know if interested, or if you want to build it yourself I can help you find parts (usually what happens) that work well together. kevineugenius@comcast.net or PM.

Kevin- i pre-built one already by myself its kind of a toss up now.

1. maybe someone has a better sys?
2. i want a laptop so i can save space, but at the same time i can get alot more for the price ona desktop.
3. i have no problem building one im just checking to see the best deal out there.

Youve probably already looked at that though. Also if your looking to game at all stay away from the x1400. It might as well be onboard.

That would be a must, although overkill for the games your looking to play. If you skipped the ram, youd have enough for the 7900 GS.
