I think you need to see this. This shows that EVGA's customer service alone speaks volumes.

Tech Level: high
Ownership: 1 month to 1 year 5/15/2007 8:47:55 AM Great Card
Pros: Everything that everyone else is saying...it is a GTX after all
Cons: I am positive that all people that gave this card 5 eggs did not have to deal with EVGA support. If you are going to spend all this money to buy a component choose a company that has real support.
Other Thoughts: The card literary blew up, frying everything (i guess) on my system. Nothing oc'ed and sparks were coming out the PCIEx power connectors. I hope this does not happen to you and you have to deal with EVGA support. 5 hours on hold, people hanging up on you and blaming the VoIP that they use...ridiculous
Manufacturer Response:Please contact me directly because I would like to extend some type of compensation to you for the unacceptable customer service that you recieved.

Since then, I've sent back my BFG Tech and picked up an EVGA 8800GTX. I had a EVGA 7950 GT and loved it, don't know why I went to another company, however for the limited time I had the BFG, it gave me no problems.
A name isn't everything either. I bought a pair of KSwiss sneakers a few years back, and within three months they had literally fallen apart. Just goes to show that you can't base everything off a few constanents and vowels aligned in a four letter, random pattern.
