I know it's not the greatest laptop, but I bought it for e-mail, chatting, and other basic comupter needs. I don't play games or anything so I figured just get a $500 laptop.
So basically the laptop will boot up then freeze/lock up when all my desktop icons and windows bar at the bottom load up. The mouse won't move, the keyboard won't work. I've been told it may be either the RAM or hard drive, maybe even the battery. I haven't brought it to a professional yet because I'm dreading paying a ton of money for a cheap laptop.
I've ahd it for about a year and a half so my warranty is up and Acer said they would fiz it totally for me for $440 which is absolutely insane.
