Processor Upgrade Intel Duo

I just bought a Dell XPS with a T5250 (intel duo 1.5ghz). Now I have a T7200 (intel 2 duo 2.0ghz) my question is can I switch the T5250 and put the T7200 in its place? Thanks for any Help

Well, According to this spec sheet from Intel your answer would be.... YEP!

I wouldn't bet on it. The T5250 is Santa Rosa (with a 667mhz fsb). Its socket P, needs a socket P processor (e.g. t7700).
