Just read through the forums there to understand the process of replacing the .inf file with a custom one that will work for you. It's not too complicated but it's confusing until you understand the process. Then you can just download the reference drivers directly from NVidia and modify them yourself.
This is actually a serious ongoing issue with gaming laptops. It's pretty much the case with all notebook manufactures that you must get the graphics drivers directly from them and they are typically up to a year behind the cutting edge. This didn't seem to be a problem with ATi cards but only with NVidia and OEMs.
Fortunately we have the Internet and immediate access to the work of generous people who are smarter than us on whatever issue we need help with.
