are you sick of seeing this?



I am... Its like every driver update misses the mobility class video cards. I myself have an asus z96j with a mobility x1600 and always find myself with this stupid message when installing drivers..

For instance.. today I downloaded the Quake wars:ET demo with the official ATI hotfix... Useless! Why? because it covers all cards BUT the mobility..

Whats so different about the mobility? Isnt it just a sized down flagship model? and how come ati wont fix this!

understanding ur frustration, but it was never meant for ati (or nvidia) to offer mobility drivers. This rests with the responsibility of the laptop manufacturers. best is to look in the gou community out there and scrap any mod drivers that u can find.
