Been watching my phase status way too much over the past few days, but today it has gone to phase 4 out of 9 phases:

Phase 4: (Pre-Production)
The inventory that will be used to custom build the PC is being pulled and inspected. In the rare occurrence that a PC component is not readily available, you will be notified via email.

Fingers crossed they will have everything in stock and all that jazz.

I will keep people up to date with this and post plenty of pictures once it arrives.

BTW, has anyone got pictures of a similar AW system? I'm finding it hard to find pics of what it will look like inside???

If you went down the intel road you can't have all three (Network, Physix and Sound cards) I went down the AMD road and you can choose them all. I will see how it goes, the website had no problems, no warnings or anything (UK website btw). I will see how it goes, i'm sure they'll contact me saying that there is a problem, if there is one that is.

And if they dont, I will find out when I open her up, lol

No worries tho.

i just checked and it says only 2 slots...for both AMD and INTEL

i would call them to check on that

and just get rid of the K1 card anyway...its a waste of money that could be spent on games...read reviews of the K1 card...it doesnt do anything...even the phys-x card is pretty useless cuz not many games support it but i got that too anyway cuz i will be playing alot of UT3

Try this:

http://www.alienware.co.uk/configura...de=SKU-DEFAULT

Does it make a difference to this issue that the Physix card is
PCI-E??

You were right k3Ck, It is impossible to have all three, I got rid of the network card (After reading the reviews it does little to the system anyways) Thanks again mate.

On the UK site the network card is £108, does anyone suggest anything else I can spend that money on? (on the UK alienware site)

And AlienRod, I sure will!!!!

7,227.79?

Where?

What is the Vat: £530.11?

Just wondering cause that is a crazy price to pay for a system with a $250 dollar processor.

Nice system. I really like their dual coolit cooling system.

Whoop whoop whoop, Moved on to phase 5 now:

"Phase 5: (Production Phase 1 - Assembly)
Your system is being hand-built by an Alienware Assembly Technician. Alienware takes great pride in building our systems, as our motto reflects, "build it as if it were your own." The assembly stage can take some time, as all the components and cabling in the system is carefully installed for greater upgrade flexibility and thermal airflows. Every Assembly Technician has been trained and qualified to Alienware standards. We pride ourselves on giving you a high performance computer system!"

I managed to get priority in production. They said it may come this week, and if not, early next week!

Also never knew they were built in Ireland for the UK, thought it was all done in the US.
