hey guys don´t you play medal of honor airborne or bioshock or crysis. did you buy m9750 just for surfing the net????
i dont play those games yet plus i dont have SLI on my m9750 just yet. from what I have heard from other people is that the XP SLI drivers work pretty well. Bioshock on the other hand is one of those games its going to take sometime to work the kinks out so that it can be played to its full potential.. sorry i cant help you on that. some people says that it helps with taking away the black empty spaces while playing the game and some say that it helps on loading the games... just google the BIOSHOCK DRIVER and read the responses...

Calm down. I'll try it out in a couple of hours, I do not have Bioshock though, as with all the driver problems people have been reporting, I was still debatin' on getting the 360 version instead. Anyhow, I'll try the driver workaround as stated above to see if it even works, as most m9750 owners have realized we are out of luck when it comes to other modded drivers (well, at least for those with the SLI config). I will update you on this later on tonight, with some possible benchmarks on current gen games... BF2, etc...

I'm itchin to get World in Conflict, it got pretty good reviews....

After doing some research, I realized the "Nvapps.xm_" file are just profiles, which I highly doubt would affect performance at all, as you can create new profiles and edit profiles. Maybe someone can correct me on that, but I don't see how a simple file with updated profiles will help any.

well. could you try mix the drivers. alienware´s inf with new 160 series??
Hmm, after doing a bit more research, it appears there may be benefits to the added profiles as certain hardware features are turned on/off. Some of which don't appear in Alienware's drivers. But I may be wrong.. I'll do a bit more research...

So you do know though, I did install the driver as stated with the instructions, and yes, all it does is add new profiles.

Hey guys,

I have an mALX, using standard Geforce go drivers ( not the ones AW gave me). I take it this discovery aint gonna solve the problems us mALX users have with drivers? Think it might be worth a go?

Hmm.. i tried the above method and downloaded the Bioshock demo, and I got a couple of glitches on screen while playing.. is the retail any different? there were a few moments here and there where the screen would freeze for a moment... this was at 1920x1200, everything on high...

how's everyone else's performance with bioshock? on the 9750...
