When I using flash MX, and you are on the main timeline, and you double click on a symbol or button to go into it, it takes a very long time to open that symbol.. there is a marquee that progressivly gets bigger and bigger until the symbol opens up. this is ony happens on my laptop.
is there any reason why this might be happening. i have one gig of ram. and no other programs open.. ( i am running vista, 32bit). i have a core 2 duo, 2ghz 4mb l2, and a 7950 GTX , and 1 gig ram, which should be plenty)

ps. there are no other slow downs. when you work in flash all is well, except when you are going in and out of symbols..
