So while transferring a few things from my desktop to my new dv6500t. I noticed I hardly had any space. I have an 80gb disk, same as my desktop.
So it says that I have 10.4gb free of 66.1gb. That's because there is a recovery partion that takes up 8.35gb.
Well the thing is when I go into my c: drive and I select all the folders and go to properties it says that it's only using 40.6gb including all hidden files. So technically that should leave me with 25.5gb. Well that means I have 15.1gb suddenly filled by something non existent that isn't showing up in the c: drive.
So anyways, any help or info on this would be awesome. I've already started removing a lot of the junk HP put on my computer like 800+mb of useless games.
Thanks,
-Mike
