Advice for a new laptop.

Thread Starter
Well, the past couple of days or so, I have been doing some research for a new semi-gaming laptop.

I've asked a number of people, and I've checked through a list of brands including:

Dell
HP [I get a 15% discount from them!]
Lenovo
Gateway
Acer
Asus
Compaq
iBuyPower

I've found many possible ways to customize my laptop, but I have yet to find EXACTLY what I need.

What I'm looking for -

Processor - Core 2 duo 2.0 Ghz
RAM - 2 gigs of RAM
OS: Vista Business [May upgrade to Ultimate in a year or two]
Screen Size and Resolution: 15.4", 1680 x 1050 or 1440 x 900 [This is where most of my problems are coming, most are 1280 x 800]
Video Card: 8600M GT or above [I was seeing if there was a possibility to get a 7900M GS in it, but I doubt it would be available in a 15.4"]
Budget: Under 1400$ would be great.

What I will use this for: Word Processing [MS Word], and one game, World of Warcraft, and possibly some other simulation games. I use my desktop games for high-end gaming such as Bioshock.

I have found NOTHING so far, to my exact needs.

Check out the Sager NP2090 or the Compal IFL90 at exoticpc.com

Whats the difference between the two? They seem identical... however when configured the same... the Sager comes out cheaper??? I thought Compal was the ORIGINAL maker... wouldn't that make it cheaper?
