Oh yeah, hadn't thought about SSD drives. Perfect addition sol

sol, don't buy those POS ABS TAGEN PSUs, mine went out in 2 days, others were DOA or died within 2 weeks of purchase along with taking out other components...Not worth the hassle.

lol found the most powerful psu on the site, This isn't about reliability, this is about what components you would use. Take the MFG out of the equation. If I was to get a PSU it would be a TT. I have never had an issue with them.

dave you could always get a d-tek unisink and slap on a dtek gpu block on it. But I love the design of the EK blocks, when I get home from work, I'll fill you in better.

and I suppose I'll try and design a 15,000 dollar computer.. or something.

well I have some tiime to decide on a GPU water block.

But as I mentioned the Koolance blocks i used on my 8800GTS cards were excellant quality, just very heavy, and I found I kept having to reseat the Video Cards due to the weight
post #27 of 31
I would not use Koolance blocks, there are alot better quality ones out, that are cheaper too.

My first watercooling rig (that I'm posting from) included a koolance exos al system

Very costly and at the time only marginally better than my aftermarket heatsink and fan combo.

Ek 8800GTS full coverage block

I've heard in about two weeks, we'll start seeing full coverage blocks for the 8800GT.

how are those for weight ?
EK 690 g
Koolance 907g

After looking at the new blocks from koolance, wow.. They do look pretty amazing.
that's why I am considering just a GPU block, and maybe RAM Heatsinks
post #31 of 31
And Yeah the Koolance GPU blocks are very nice, just Heavy lol

Got tired of continually having to re-seat my cards
