Cheap notebook

Hey, I'm looking to get a relatively cheap notebook that would be capable of running the Half-Life 2 (source) games decently. As long as it could run these games at around 40-50fps with medium-high settings I'd be happy. I'm looking to spend around $600-700 US but I'd happily go around $500 if it is possible.

Can any recommend any good cheaper gaming laptops in that price range. I don't care about any newer games, so I don't need anything top of the line.

Also, can someone tell me what I need to look out for when I'm looking for a good gaming laptop? Thanks in advance.

Important considerations would be the GPU a,the processor,RAM,Screen Size you looking for. You looking at an Intel or an AMD solution?
