I purchased a Inspiron E1505 last year. I replaced the harddrive and I'm trying to reinstall Dell Media Direct. It turns out that the "backup" disk set that they charged me $10 for doesn't quite include everything needed to reinstall the system.
I called customer service and they told me to contract sales. Sales told me to contract technical support. Technical support won't talk to me because my waranty has expired. Who should I contact to get the disk?
I'm potentially willing to compensate someone who does have the disk for duplicating a copy and mailing it to me. I'm not sure if my system came with version 2 or 3. I think it might be version 3 because my system had an EISA partition on it.
