Hi guys can someone help me on this problem. Audio in my Compaq Presario V3525TU (V3000 series) cannot be detected by the machine on Windows XP. I downloaded a driver from HP website and installed it but still there is no sounds. In Vista however, the audio is running smoothly. My machine is a dual OS by the way. I tried everything in vain. I downloaded the recommended drivers from HP and Intel still the problem occurs. Can someone help me please? Thanks.

There is also a M$ HD audio framework driver I have seen under windows XP. I had thought it was part of the audio driver itself but maybe it isnt?

I already downloaded it before this post. Problem is i can't install it. This audio problem is killing me. I think the problem is with the OS (XP) because in Vista the audio is running smoothly. Didn't i mention that am using a dual boot machine? (Vista and XP). Hope u could help me.

While in the process of installing, the installation halted without any warning or message. Thanks. Then when installing the conexant driver i got this error message which says: "driver installation failed" could not found the device.
