Z71V Start up problem

Ok i have looked around on the internet a bit and asked a comp repair store about this and gotten some mixed answers.

Currently my Z71V wont boot up. When i push the power button all that happens is that the power light goes on and stays on and the HD light lights up for about 10 - 30 sec. then goes out. Also the screen doesnt light up. I have heard that this could be the RAM or the Motherboard.

Any ideas where the problem is???

like you heard, it could be ram, motherboard, or it could be the video card
