Well, the motherboard I originally put in my rig is officially dead. I exchanged it with an Asus SLI motherboard I had lying around which was one of the those that were shipped with a bad BIOS.

It didn't even want to recognize the keyboards I have or lagged greatly on the BIOS. Luckily I got around the issue and was able to flash it with a good BIOS, so far, it's been a couple of weeks and seems to be working fine.

It has been under three weeks of testing with my younger brother playing games on it all day long plus a couple of 3Dmark runs.

I can assume that it won´t be dying on me just like that.

Funny thing is, it seems that I traded one thing for another. While the Asus mobo doesn't seem to control the case fans for more silent operation like the aBit did, the Asus seems to have clearer sound.
