error message

I downloaded the updated drivers on the sager website/ audio, video, dvd patch, ap hot key driver and usb 2.0 driver. I rebooted and got an error message that said: registry data not found. What should I do?

corrected the error message

I reloaded the ap Hot key driver and it removed the error message

A troubleshooting attempt

First of all - did your system ship within the time frame of those drivers being updated ?? In that case you will have the latest drivers on that CD - it is burned just before they ship it out to you.

If not - you might have installed drivers for the 8887 by mistake (I think you have a 5660)

Worst case scenario - uninstall the old drivers, clean the registry using a 3rd party software and then install the new drivers.

I will check the website and try to figure out what you may have done. Just check those points out meanwhile...
