So i have been drooling over the U1 since it was announced, but i cannot justify spending over $2,000 for a 11.1 laptop. But today i was browsing the Asus section of Newegg and see that the U3 is finally for sale, and it looks amazing! I have read several reviews about and they actually have been very positive. And for $1,500 its not that bad of a price. Now all i need is a reason! hahaha
I love my ultraportables, i have been running my S5n for about 3 and a half years now its its been great, though i am on my 3rd battery! I have not missed the optical drive either, i didnt have one on my Compaq Evo n400c either. But the one thing i do miss is widescreen, every time i get on my fiance's Dell D420 i am amazed at how much better the user experience is.
So, what do you guys think of the U3? Would it be a good replacement for my S5n if i can kill it! hahah, i mean it works great, so i REALLY dont have any reason to upgrade...
