Is it even possible to install a Bluetooth module into this "Bluetooth ready" notebook? When attempting to track down exactly which internal adapter I needed to purchase, Acer's phone support told me to use "any adapter" as it didn't matter which Internal Bluetooth module I used, they would all work. Figuring this was incorrect, I did some Googling and found the FRU List for the 9300 which lists Bluetooth Board FOXCONN BCM2045 V01 as the correct part. No instructions on where it is in the system, though. I was able to find the part online and ordered it $62 + shipping.

Not being able to find installation instructions or any sort of indication where the adapter should go in my 9300, I called Acer back. The phone tech then told me they have no schematics available to them and can only support parts that are included in the computer. They could not give me any direction on where I may find the necessary parts and suggested I let a tech open the machine and try to find it...

Upon receiving the part, I and one of my co-workers (I work for an IT company) attempted to wing the install going off of other suggested Bluetooth module installations I'd found for other Acer notebook models. None of them were applicable to the 9300, however and I was left with reassembling the notebook and doing more research as my only option.

I just sent an email request to technical support at Acer requesting help though I doubt that's going to do me any good.

Has anyone here ever successfully installed BT onto this model? If so, please help. Any guidance on this would be greatly appreciated. If you need more information on the part I have (hopefully not mistakenly) ordered let me know and I will post some pictures of it online.
