When I call they have no clue about my real status... DELL suck's... I'm about to cancel my order...

my order is finally shipping. im hoping it comes before i have to leave for my college presentation thing

which brings up a question: if it ships today, and i got normal shipping, will it be here before thursday?

for my xps700.. never even moved from preproduction yet.. how GAY

wow...a whole month of waiting

Damn, I'd give them a call. Mine was at boxing the day after I ordered it.

an xps700? well its a new product.. ive called several times.. they dont know crap.. ill try to contact customer care or supervisors or something tommrow

Ordered mine about 11pm friday night. It's now 9am Saturday morning. At the bottom of my Order Status page, on the line with the ESD, it lists the status details as Order on Hold. Is this normal because my order was recently placed, or should I be concerned?

And I ordered like 11:30PM EST Friday.

If I placed my order on 3rd July with a delivery estimate of 15th July but it's still in pre-production as at the 9th do I need to start getting concerned ? It's for the 2ghz Centrino Duo with the 7900 GS, can't believe there'd be too much of a lead time on those parts.

i ordered mine sunday july 16th and it shipped today july 19th and delivery of july 21st ill probably out there waiting cause im off fri

I am in the same boat I ordered the 3rd. My order went delayed yesterday, due to an engineering issue with the chassis and the 7900gs for my wifes e1705, any one hear different?

So very sad. My XPS 1710 went all the way to "Boxing", then the next day backtracked all the way to "Pre-Production" where it's held for the last few days.

Call and check the phone order status, seems to be the one that is closer to the truth.

Im to busy to check how to do this, can you give me the number to call and what to say?

any update on your order?

Mine has stopped at boxing too. Took 2 days to get there, its been there for 3 days now...

Nevermind, mine shipped today, on a Sunday... Heh, 3 days early though. Rock on.

I ordered mine on Friday the 15th, and it immediately got checkmarks on Processing and Pre-Production. Then on Sunday the 17th it got three more checkmarks (Kitting, Build, Testing). Now it's Wednesday morning and it hasn't moved since then. I hope it's going to ship soon...I might explode in a few days if not.
