ordered mine on the 11th, confirmed on 12, inproduction from 12-14, being shipped out on 15th due arrival between 18-20th. not too bad. (btw it's a 8600)

Ordered my 600m on Tuesday 1st, it supposedly shipped yesterday, Thursday 4th, but now when i look at the status it's gone back to in production!?? Why would it go to shipped status and then go back to in production. Strange.

I ordered my i600m around 1-2PM PST, on Wednesday, and it's getting tested today on Saturday! Hopefully, it'll be boxed and shipped to UPS around the end of today.

Mmm sometimes they'll ship on saturday; other times they won't. Depends on what you chose for delivery method.

ordered mine thursday night (11pm) built by friday... in boxing stage through the weekend. shipped and arived today. BUT!!! my roomate left 6 minutes before UPS showed up, and i arrived 9 minutes late! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!

i had free 2nd day shipping. but i am still impressed. very very fast build and delivery (considering it was over weekend).

btw- i got a 9100

I orderd mine on the 22 and should be geting it tomo (29) or the 30. I thought it take like 3 weeks to get it like most people lol .

my notebook has been is the boxing stage since about 9 am this morning...wasn't so sure it took over 12 hours to put the thing in a box

Dell really should rename the boxing stage to the boxing + shipping stage. That would prevent a hell of a lot of confusion.

Or it might just generate more cause people will think that that shipping is UPS delivering it to them rather than the whole [usual] Malaysia thing.

In other words, boxing involves more than just putting "the thing in a box".

I'm in Canada.

I ordered my i8600 on Tuesday July 27th, and as of today, Thursday July 29th, it's "In Production". My estimated ship date was Friday August 6th and it came.

Took about 9 days in total.

ordered in Jul 24th, boxing at 25th, shipping at 28th, and i received at 29th. Freaking fast man.
I get a free 2nd day ship, but it looks like next business day to me
Ah, FYI, the free printer came the next day too.
Est. time for Laptop: Aug 2nd,

i ordere my 8600 Aug. 10 at night. order processing - 2 days. pre-production - 1 day. inproduction-rite now (started on a friday) Estimated day of arrival Aug 27. hope it can get here faster though..this waiting is killing me X|
