Well, today is the day. It's stuck in "Build" for the 12th day... Shipping Prep is supposed to be today. Haven't got and emails from Dell. Dont really understand whats going on.

Anyone stuck in this phase with these or similar specs?
i9300, PM 750 1.86, 1 gig DDR2 RAM, nVidia 6800 go, 17" WUXGA, 60gig7200rpm, Intel 2915 abg, xp home, bluetooth module...

I know im bitching but what the hell. Im anxious, here, jeez...

I think the 60 gig 7200 rpm drive is what is holding you LT up

well I ordered an Inspiron 6000 on Monday, up until today there was nothing on my status. Now it just says in production. Thats it nothing else like what stage of production. Will just have to wait and watch.

Anyway I would like to say thankyou to everyone here in the Dell forum. I did a lot of reading and research over the last 6 weeks on just about every brand and model. This forum really helped me in making my decision.

thanks again

Mines been at a similar status its been 6 days since i've ordered it the site says "In Production" with no check marks but the phone status says "Build" stage

its a 9300 1.73ghz, WXGA, 512mb, 80 GB, Geforce 6800, DVD+- Shipping date isn't until the 7th though.

I wrote an email to tech support asking why there was the difference and they told me my shipping dates again so I emailed again saying I was worried because the difference and that didn't answer my question so they sent me a standard email about parts being available and different reasons why orders take longer and an offer for a 50 dollar coupon for future use..

My computer has been boxing for 3 days now. I love the way it takes Dell less than a day to build and test the thing, but more then 3 days to put it in a stupid box. I'm this close to calling Dell and complaining to the first person who answers about it...

The reason for this is because this is when they send it from Malaysia to the US or something.

Ummmm, so it takes 4 days for the laptop to fly from Malaysia to USA? Because, it STILL says 'Boxing' even though its now Friday night....GAAAAAAAAAAAAAH I WANT MY LAPTOP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
boxing usually takes 3-4 days max...it especially hurts when it's in "boxing" during the weekend, and you know it won't be able to ship at least until monday when UPS operates...
