Sony VAIO VGN-N365E with XP

Thread Starter
Hi all.. I'm completely new here and looking for information! I recently purchased a Sony vaio vgn-n365e with Vista Home premium on it. I was having problems with vista and decided to downgrade to window xp professional. Now my CD/DVD isn't playing DVD's, and my sd card slot isn't working (i'm sure there will be other things not working that i'll encounter on the way too!). I've tried to contact Sony - but they did not want to help stating that they don't support XP on my machine. Does anyone know where i can get drivers or how I can get these items to work? I'm not really good with computers...

Thanks!!!

I have the VGN-N230E and I was having the same problem. I finally found all but one driver (Conexant HDAUDIO SoftV92 Data Fax Modem). but I am not really pressed for it now since I use the wireless modem to connect to the internet. I may, however be able to help you with your sd card reader's driver. I just found mine today. Mine is the Texas Instruments PCI7411 Integrated Memory Stick slot. If you need the driver setup file, just email me and I'll send it to you if you want to try it.
