Hey guys,

I have been having a problem. When I start playing a game like Half-life 2 or C&C 3 or F.E.A.R., my Framerates are exactly where the should be. however, 15-30 seconds later the drop we down to like 25% of what they should be. (I cant play half life 2 at medium video settings with 20 frames per second)

I have the most current driver for my Go 7900 GTX.

Any solutions? I appreciate your time.

Before you play the game press Fn-F2 to switch fans into full speed mode.
Use dust-off spray to clear vents on your laptop.
Use a cooling pad under your laptop so it has better airflow.

Hmm I just completely reformatted my computer and cleaned everything out. I checked and my CPU speed is not dropping during the game, so I have no idea what is causing the frame rate drop! I also am trying to monitor the temperature, but Rivatuner2 says my GPU temp is -154 degrees C. wtf?
