hi, i just ordered a sony fz series laptop. i got it with a 2.0 Ghz core 2 duo prossesor, 2GB of ram and most importantly the Nvidia 8400 GT video card with 256 Mb. i was just wondering if i am going to be able to run new games like bioshock, dirt, BF2142 and other DX 10 games on low settings. and if possible what kind of fps range i will be looking at. if anyone knows how to upgrade the video card and what options there would be that would be greatly appriciated too. THANKS!!!

The thing that I recommend to all of my friends when they ask about notebook gaming is always ... and I mean ALWAYS prioritize the videocard.
The CPU and RAM are almost always upgradeable while the videocard is the exact opposite and almost always NOT upgradeable.
For more reasonable budget try looking at the Gateway PxxxxFX series or the newer Toshibas or of course if you have the $$$$ the Alienware / Voodoo / other boutique notebooks.

yes, but barely. I've got an Nvidia 6600 that's similar in power to your 8400. Bioshock runs on my computer, but does not run smoothly.
