HD problem

So...
this is what happened...
I bought Lenovo 3000 N100 with 120 GB HD and upgraded it with 2 GB of RAM. Form me it is a great computer! But with this Lenovo comes so called "Lenovo care" software and as far as I know this is some version of ThinkVantage software that comes with ThinkPads. And I used it to back up my data! So it backed up 35 GB of HD on another 35 GB and from the initially 106 GB (14 GB as I understand is hidden on a hidden partition) I have 30 GB of free space!!!!
Now I want to restore it to previous state! How? Is there a way or do I have to return my computer to a factory state with Rescue and Recovery 4.0 that came with computer?

If anybody can be helpfull i thank in advance!

Previous state - it means before making back up...
But thanks to some info that I found somewhere I installed Rescue and Recovery 4.1 with interesnting button saying: "Delete previous back up"!!!!!!!!
So I executed a click on the same...and GB have been returned. R&R 4.0 didn't have that function. Now I'll make another back up but on external media!
