This is a cosmetically excellent M6805 (Athlon64 3000+) that was working flawlessly for almost 3 years, then suddeenly stopped. Error screens and a 4 beep code hints at a problem on the motherboard (apparently, but not sure).

I don't have time to try and fix it, but it could be a good candidate for someone who does have time to tinker around (or is an Emachines M68xx fanatic!)

It's still potentially a very nice laptop, with as you may know, a quite fast discrete graphics card (ATI Radeon 9600).

I have an excellent contact person for spare parts if needed, at very fair prices. Or the machine could be used for parts. (Only part showing wear is the keyboard is a little smooth.)

Most of the hardware is in good working order and excellent cosmetic condition - LCD, processor, HDD, RAM (768MB), video card, wireless card, optical drive (upgraded to DVD-RW),externall housing, battery, etc.

Has all OEM accessories - AC adaptor, cord, manuals, restore disks (XP Home), even the original box.

I am asking $200 'as is', buyer pays shipping. I will guarantee the above statements re parts condition to be true, or money back within 14 days (minus shipping).
