criminey, all I said was that they were synonyms. You are pointing out everything except what I said...

Ok, I updated the original post with Bioshock and Tabula Rasa info. I put a some more later on (when I get time ).

FYI..
I am using Vista (Dell's image with all the bloat), why you ask, becuase I haven't had a lot of time to sit down and wipe the drive yet. I am using the 156.55 video driver from Dell's web site.

Ok, everyone back to the non topic related discussion.

Later

Don't worry about it Sol... Some people just HAVE to be right, that's why I just gave up explaining my point lol.

I would really like to see those bioshock tests with either the 163.44 or 163.69 drivers since they are supposedly optimized for bioshock...

I will re-run bioshock with the 163.xx drivers..

All you had was an opinion, that was easily proven illogical.

You're not here to discuss this machine at all, are you? Only to sling sh!t at people who are buying it...

Thanks. You rock. Seriously.

I'll bet you're great fun at parties.

Thanks zyb for the numbers, most games it seems at native ie bioshock arent very playable, drivers could squeeze a few more fps but not enough for me to call smooth.
Kind of a bummer but i guess we will have to see as time presses on if the numbers get any better and if you can OC that badboy . also zyb are you running sli profiles for all those games ? it almost seems like its not taking advantage of both cards in certain games ie bioshock ,crysis .

Yes I am here to discuss it, as well as the performance comparisons between the two. I have not slung anything... The comment you quoted is what it is, a performance comparison, nothing more, nothing less. In adition, 3DMark is not a good indicator when comparing across 7 & 8 series cards. Factual statement, nothing more.

Why don't you get up some of your own BioShock scores from your uber overclocked M1710, and I'll get some of mine at stock settings Sol?
