Is there a way to get an Inspirion 1721 with XP loaded ??

I just did this last week for one of our computers here at work.

If you have the XP cd, you can re-install it fine. The problem is finding drivers. Dell doesn't provide XP drivers for the video, sound, and chipset.

However, I found that you can use the XP drivers for the Latitude D531 on it.

Well if you get Business or Ultimate you get a free XP downgrade option.
