From Great to Worst

I am the (un)happy owner of a thinkpad t60p. I have the laptop for nearlly a year now and never had any compplaints about it. This summer I went to my local representation to get my lcd fixed because it had too many dead pixels. They changed the lcd, no problems. When it came back from the factory it had the same problem, lot's of dead pixels with a terrible darker kind of stain in my lcd. Went back second time, came back same problem. Went back came back third time, and came back looking ok. 1 Month later, the lcd is with lots of dead pixels with huge areas of a darker tone. I am now a very unhappy owner of a thinkpad t60p. so what is the deal?!?! why so many problems with the lcd? And yesterday, my battery died. power managment says that an irrepairable battery error occurred. I am very unhappy with all of this and still don't know what I will do in relation to this situation, but I thought I would share this with other IBM users. And to any Ibm tech that reads this what kind of solution is there for my problem.

A lot of batteries die around the 1 year mark, most are warrantied for 1 year....you'll see a lot die right after the 1 year warranty expires, it sucks but that's life.

I can't tell you much about your LCD problems, post some pictures if you can. How do you use the notebook? Where? etc. are you sure you're not causing the problems....are you sure the LCD was even switched out when the notebook went in for repair.
