Yes you have to unlock the card to overclock within windows with any conventional overclocking utilities. Edit: And yes, always backup your original bios before flashing. True its a carbon copy of others bios (provided dell doesnt make a new rev) but I like relying on my own files and not others uploaded on the net. 'nvflash -b original.rom' is a command to generate a rom that contains the bios dump of what is currently stored in the eeprom. There are more intuitive ways to make a backup within windows but since you have to flash your card anyway, there is no point.
