I already got 8800GTS 640MB http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814130071

but now this ATI 2900 Pro with 1GB memory just caught my eyes

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814102707

does any of you know anything about these two card

from this test, http://www.tweaktown.com/reviews/1189/1
look like 2900 pro 512MB is out perform 8800GTS 320MB in some case.....I wonder what it would be like for 2900 pro with 1GB again 8800 GTS 640MB

They did a test on the 512 2900 and 1gb, the difference was about 1fps on every test...So i'd say go with the 640mb GTS, solid performing card and cheap.

are playing at extreme resolutions? (above 1920x1080?) If you aren't that 1GB will go to waste

I'm very happy with my 8800gts. Overclocks easily
