I have a suggestion for Tony, the NBF admins and any one else interested in driver modification / development here. Instead of just posting and making available the complete driver archive, why not make the ".inf"s available by themselves as stand alone downloads and make them available ASAP? (Similar to what's done at LaptopVideo 2Go).
Many of us here (myself included) have already downloaded the driver archives from other sources (ie., LV2G, Nvidia, Dell, Toshiba, Alienware, etc...) from which Tony's performance tweaked drivers are based. Since we already have the necessary driver files and just lack the modded ".inf"s to make them work correctly, releasing them by themselves would be beneficial in many ways. For one it would reduce the bandwidth burden on the servers, and on those of us whom already have these archives. Second, it would allow us to rapidly try out and test newer versions of your drivers as you make revisions, without having to re-download what's basically the same driver that has just minor tweaks to it's ".inf".
The driver archives are rather large files many megabytes in size and the amount of extra bandwidth needed to host them could become a burden and expense if they become popular with the many readers of this board. Which is why I'm making this second suggestion. Make your drivers available as they are released here simultaneously on BitTorrent. This too will help to relieve the potential added bandwidth burden and make them available to other's who may not even know about this board (via the .torrent search engines).
Just my 2 cents.
I hope this helps,
Ciao
